Let's just start basically with 2 words: 'Local Punks'. what do majority of younger teenagers think of? good charlotte, simple plan, blink 182, maybe even that bitch avril lavinge. why? mass media and commercialism; especially on MTV. take a look now at the local underground scene. young teenagers only visualize punks with colourful mohawks, steel-toe boots, bondage pants with zips and studded sidezips (not that this ain't correct about punks). Bands to follow? rancid, the exploited, casualties, operation ivy and occasionally oxymoron. that's all there is to being a punk? where did lifestyle and ideologies go? does bootlace spell out what a punk is? bullshit. walk around city hall on a saturday. just observe the present 'punks'. 3-quarter kinda baggy bermudas/mat tappered jeans, high-cut converse shoes/mat slippers, a band t-shirt(if they've got the cash), spikey hair(durianhead)/armani hair????, chains dangling around their hips and to top it off, a studded belt/wristband. maybe even some fucking eyeliner. sounds familiar? no? go switch on MTV. get the picture? seriously. WTF has happened to punks these days.
fuck fashion and now its about lifestyle. ever watched an interview on mtv with goodcharlotte/simpleplain/avrillafuck/blink182? they've got 'attitude'. their sleeves are worn up to show off their tattoos of how jock-like their 'muscles' are, hold a beer can in their hand to promote drinking, look down on the floor instead of the camera but when its performance time they stare straight at the cameras. cam-shy my ass. of course not forgetting to give a stupid fucked up arrogant face as though they're not happy at all to be on set.
how's that different from local punks these days? they sit around trying to look and act tough (wont smile either) so that when minahs walk past, they think those guys are cool, handsome, some bigshot. mats. 2nd thing they'll do is to grab any drink as long as there's alcohol in it (even though its 5% vodka) and after 1 or 2 sips, they get so DRUNK. Then comes the time to go home. 'ikut aku ah. aku takut ah nak jalan tepi skinheads...' ('follow me ah. im scared to walk by skinheads') fucking wanna put up a 'violent-macho' show in front of their own friends, passers-by and minahs but immediately grow a pussy when they walk past skinheads. wanna be a punk? know what you're believing in and live up to the name. respect comes only when you truely live up to something you stand by strongly.

been helpin my frens move hse back-to-back for the past weekend. sat was herf's and sun was azar's sis. kinda fun la. sat at the back of the pickup during herf's movin hse day and it felt gr8 with the wind blowin on my hair..ooo yea...eee.. soo gay...hahaha! on sunday lak, got a chance to take the much revered LRT. 1st time dok. well not exactly 1st time la. last time i took LRT was when i sk8ed at teck whye some donkey years back. still remember i only survived on bananas on tat day. lol. well movin on..since the LRT was driverless, i sat at the front window and imagine myself steering that thing..sheesh toddlers.

yesterday...oh yesterday.... my mrs isaac GiV mE SuRpRiSe!!!! was strolling down the south canteen with theng then saw the gals crowding around a table...move abit closer then saw a glimpse of a brown solid with candles on it...haha noe wat it is liao...the cake was superb...sinfully delightful choc...yum!! to tat hand-cracking, angelina jolie-like lips lover of mine, thx for the pleasant suprise syggg!! i got soo touched i start to laff instead of cry...hehehe! and to thng, thx for ur prezzie! then there was the gig later at nyp. was told by azar to be the cameraman when derailed is performin. and with the start of the 1st song, the crowd started to MOSH. wow...i didn expect them to be soo into the songs. then aper lagi, did a lil moshing and a stagedive to bodysurf lo... chilled for awhile till hamartia performed(they were the last band), then moshed and stagedived the nite away....

had a gr8 day with the crew. b4 tat, went to browse some tees with sham at arab street with sham. had free MRT trip to bugis courtesy of sham and some cheating. stood closely behind him when he tapped his ezlink at the barrier so that i can go in as well. wahaha. i settled for a strait records tee at strait records while sham bought a tee at basement records. chatted with the bassist of dead by six(who used to be the bassist for derailed)who's tending the place for awhile then left. met she-snort and jrenggie afta tat at harbourfront then went to pastamania to fetch the butch and the bitch, fiq and vladdy. herf ordered 1 large bbq chik pizza and 1 sml banana pizza while lenn ordered a common beef blogno. as for me, my mouth just do the work. lol. i must have pizzas with hotsausssssssss. its so different from common chili shit. the feeling is like ur tongue's dipped into molten lava, but as soon as tat spicyness began, it just ends like dat. and u'll just wana add tat thing over and over again..its like an addiction.wahaha. usual crapping wit the crew the whole nite thru. topics range from small dicks, past relationships, porn, vibrating condoms, rats, toddlers, etc etc...jrenggie the janitor told me tat when she 1st saw me, she tot i was a freaking schboy. well, mrs isaac showed me tis blog. in general its kinda rasist ar. but just read and tink abt it la.

bandzout. kinda dissappointed with it. not at my band cos they were gr8, but at the judges. it just bring me this idea tat they are kinda bias. i don wana brag and all la, but i believe tat our band hav the potential to win or at get 2nd place. in the end, some shitty trendy screamo shit won and in second place some popular ppl who came together to form a band. and oh yea. fame. it seems like this word can do gr8 damage on ppl. well, it over oredi no use brooding abt it. just would like thank: the band for an awesome perfomance, u guyz were gr8. theng and especially the love of my life for coming down to c tis midget quack. the crew, even thou they came late and didn see me perform but wished me good luck and all, thx guyz.
